Walking in the Footsteps of RS Thomas – His ‘Secret’ Way Home
Saturday, 6 May 2017
St Hywyn’s Church, Aberdaron 10:30 – 15:30

Join us for a day, discovering the quiet backwaters of Aberdaron, the last parish of RS Thomas, on the shores of the Irish Sea, that inspired some of his best poetry.

At St Hywyn’s church, experience his devotional poetry; explore the hidden valley by river and thicket, leading to Thomas’ home; walk along the route of the ancient pilgrims and early Christian saints, marked by sacred well and baptismal bridge; returning by the high road, overlooking the village on the shore.
